Temple St Hospital

The Blue Stack Shoes event was established in 2008 in order to raise much needed funds for Temple St Childrens Hospital.

Our target is to fund a new apartment in Dublin for use by parents of sick children who have prolonged periods of staying in the hospital.

Welcome to the Blue Stack Shoes Festival 2010

The 2010 Blue Stack Shoes Festival is hosted by the community of Frosses and is a charity event supporting Temple Street Childrens University Hospital. Our target is to fund a new apartment in Dublin for use by parents of sick children who have prolonged periods of staying in the hospital. Much effort and dedication has been invested in hosting what should be a truly wonderful event.

Family fun, displays, charity events and a sensational music line up will entertain all ages from the 4th to 6th June.
The event is fully sponsored by KN Network Services and all donations go straight to the hospital for the purchase of the accommodation.

Temple St to Frosses Cycle

A team of 25 cyclists will set off from Temple Street Childrens hospital on Friday 4th of June heading for Frosses in Co.Donegal. Covering a total of 240km we aim to welcome them into Frosses at 2pm on Saturday 5th of June.

Please support our cyclists by donating funds either by the road side collections in each of the major towns or by clicking on the donation link.

10km Walk / Run

On Saturday 5th June 2010 we will be holding a sponsered walk / run including various spot prizes and ladies / gents 1st place prizes.

Registration will take place at Frosses Communicaty Centre between 10am and 10:45am.

Entry Donation : €10 or €50 sponsorship card.

Over 40's Football Tournament

Friday 4th of June sees the kick off for the first match of the over 40's football tournament.

Fancy Dress Parade - Followed by Kids Disco

Event taking place on Friday 4th of June at 6:00pm. Prize categories include: Overall Individual, Overall Group, Most Topical, Most Comical and Most Original.

2008 Blue Stack Shoes Highlights

The inaugural Blue Stack Shoes event took place in June of 2008 and raised €86k for Temple St Childrens Hospital.
